Cheryl studied Metals at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, RI from 1996-2005 while working full time in another field. She was fortunate to have had several very accomplished jewelry instructors as her mentors and found Providence to be a stimulating location to practice her craft. In 2007 she and her husband moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she expanded both her commission work and product line and began participating in juried art shows.
In her work, she uses 14K and 18K yellow gold, sterling and Argentium silver, gemstones, and concrete. She is inspired by both organic and geometric forms and enjoys the challenge of creating three-dimensional designs.
