The organic pendant shape is named after the rocks that you see in the water, that you can't help but pick up, because they've been worn so smooth, almost symmetrical, and more beautiful over time. Each River Rock is handmade to order and is one-of-a-kind. This one has a 3.75 mm faceted, ethically sourced sapphire set in recycled 14K yellow gold. The one-half inch pendant hangs from either an 18-inch, 14K gold paperclip style chain or a 16-inch snake chain; the pendant can be removed from either chain. This is the 7th in the River Rock series and the first in gold. It was made to honor a special day in September- a birthday, an anniversary, or even a day when the deep blue Autumn sky is at its finest (yes, the sky really is bluer in the Fall) or to celebrate the 10th year of marriage- blue sapphire is the anniversary gemstone for one decade.
